I am a musician and started playing the guitar when I was 10. I later discovered that Bass is a very interesting instrument and also a huge part of any music. I was a part of Women In Jazz Program specifically for female Bass players. This program helped me with the fundamentals and overall theory of music.

The MTV Unplugged rendition of "No Excuses" by Alice in Chains strips the song down to its raw, emotional core. Intimate, haunting, and beautifully harmonized, it captures the band’s depth and vulnerability. This live version inspired my cover—an homage to its powerful mood and timeless acoustic energy.
Alice in Chains is a seminal American rock band formed in Seattle, Washington, in 1987 by guitarist Jerry Cantrell and vocalist Layne Staley. Emerging from the grunge movement, they stood out by blending heavy metal riffs with dark, introspective lyrics and haunting harmonies, especially between Cantrell and Staley.
